Y's VIII: Lacrimosa Of Dana Releases A PlayStation 4 And Vita Version

The new Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was recently brought by NIS America to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will also be released for PC's via Steam in North America and Europe this fall. The company announced this information during its 2017 press conference event. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will feature English and Japanese audio along with English and French subtitles.

A limited edition of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will cost, roughly, $99.99 for PlayStation 4 release and $79.99 for PS Vita version. Players will be able to pre-order the game via NIS America, and this will include "The Codex of Adol Christin: Periplus of the Goethe Sea Writing Materials", a softcover art book, hardcover art book acrylic bookends, a 33"x40" cloth poster, a SteelBook collector's case, collector's box, and the game's original soundtrack.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is a Japanese action role-playing game developed and released to the public by the Nihon Falcom Corporation. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is the eight installment in the Ys video game series.Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was released in Japan in July 2016for the Sony PS Vita and will be released on PlayStation 4 platform on May 25, 2017

After 8 years, Ys finally released a new installment for its Ys series. The story of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will revolve around the main character named Adol who woke up in a shipwrecked boat and was stranded on a cursed island, wherein he and other shipwrecked passengers, which Adol rescued from a village, need to challenge fearsome beasts and mysterious ruins on the cursed island. Adol then dreams of a mysterious blue-haired maiden living in an unknown world. Players will take role of Adol and unravel the challenges and mysteries of the cursed island and meet up with the maiden named Dana in this game entitled Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana
