2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid: Price And Specs

We can't deny that Toyota has a pretty solid grip on the hybrid market in the U.S., but that doesn't mean there aren't some other great hybrid options out there for consumers to check out. One of these is the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid, but is it worth the price?

Coming from Europe, the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid sports 47 mpg combined. Its somewhat odd shape hasn't changed much from its European design, but those who purchase the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid may find this aspect endearing. The vehicle is distinguished by its tall headroom and short wheelbase, touched up with a few Aston Martin-like features.

As for the inside, you'll find a comfortable interior with a contoured steering wheel and cozy front seats. You can also fold the back down for added room. The 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid also comes with MyFord Touch across two front LCD screens.

In terms of power, the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid sports a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with 141 horsepower and 129 pound-feet of torque, though this is increased with the electric motor. The vehicle can get from 0 to 60 in under 10 seconds.

There are two versions of the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid available: The C-Max Hybrid SE, which starts at $25,200, and the C-Max Hybrid SEL, which starts at $28,365, aside from a $795 delivery fee.

Some who have tested the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid claim that its real world fuel economy is less than actually stated, making the vehicle not so much greater than, for example, the Prius. Perhaps it's best to get behind the wheel of the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid before diving into a purchase.
