The Division Exotic Weapons Review: Patch 1.6 Upgrades The TENEBRAE Marksman Rifle

The Division Patch 1.6 will change a lot of things and upgrade items in the game. This includes the exotic weapon TENEBRAE Marksman Rifle.

TENEBRAE Rifle Specs So Far

The TENEBRAE marksman rifle did not impress critics when it first came to the game. The 1.6 patch though has made players and critics alike reconsider their feelings toward this exotic weapon. The rifle sports a gold color appearance and it is based on the SCAR-H model. Its gaining attention right now because the best marksman rifle could inflict the highest PVE damage so far. This puts it in league with the MK 17 and MK 20, according to Arekkz Gaming.

The improved TENEBRAE Marksman rifle includes 149 percent headshot damage bonus with 275 RPM. The regular magazine load is 20 rounds but extending it will give the user 20 more bullets.

The 1.6 update includes a Talent called Lights Out. The description says skill cooldown is imposed on user and his team whenever the weapon destroys an enemy's weak points. This could occur once every ten seconds. Game observers insist the cooldown penalty does little to hinder the effectiveness of the TENEBRAE rifle.

1.6 Patch And Last Stand Expansion

The Division developer Ubisoft will simultaneously release the 1.6 patches and Last Stand expansion pack. The update is free to every player while the DLC is free only to Season Pass holders.

The Division is available on various gaming platforms including Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Ubisoft has also done away with time exclusivity deal with the Xbox One. This is understandable since the game's player base has grown smaller now. Keeping PS4 and PC players from playing the latest DLC pack will more likely hurt the developer financially. Any benefits they derived from the Xbox One exclusive deal is no longer worth it. When the DLC and patches come out, all Division players will be playing.
