'Horror Story' Season 7 To Tackle US Presidential Election; Who's Acting As Donald Trump?

Ryan Murphy has been known for his risky storylines and brilliant plot twists. And as "American Horror Story" takes on to another season, the show's screenwriter revealed that it would be tackling a different storyline this time. The upcoming installment of the hit series would be focusing on the 2016 US Presidential Election. And as everything is not yet planned out, one veteran actor already volunteer to play as one of the main characters.

'American Horror Story' Season 7 Takes On 2016 Presidential Election

As per Movie News Guide, the 2016 US Election was really one of the shocking events for everyone last year. Sources added that the entire period was just a plain attack on each other while the welfare of every person is at risk. Murphy wanted to be reminded of that moment that is why he takes on the election as his storyline for the upcoming installment of "American Horror Story".

In an interview, Murphy revealed that the upcoming installment doesn't have any official title yet. However, he is really serious that the story would focus on how the US election turned out. It can be recalled that business tycoon Donald Trump won over Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. The show's screenwriter admitted that he would want to relive the moment as he believes that it would be interesting and attractive to a lot of people.

 "It is going to be about the election that we just went through, so I think that will be interesting for a lot of people," Murphy said.

The upcoming season would be really different than the past installments as others focus on the horrific side of the story. However, there is no doubt that the creators of the show would still make a way for the story to be directed on its horror genre.

Who's Acting As Donald Trump?

On the other hand, Murphy is still looking for an actor who would portray the character of Donald Trump perfectly. News revealed that Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are the first two celebrities who signed up for this season.

Moreover, Naomi Grossman already expressed her interest in playing the role of Hilary Clinton as the actress already posted a photo of herself wearing a blonde wig. Fans thought that Grossman would be the ideal person to act out as Clinton because of her brilliance and excellence.

"American Horror Story" Season 7 doesn't have any official release date yet but creators admitted that it would surely be exciting.
