‘South Park’ Season 21 Latest Spoilers: Upcoming Series Will Be Different; Premiere Episode Release Date Revealed

A statement directly coming from the co-creator of "South Park" Season 21 seems to imply that the upcoming TV series will be less politically flavored. Trey Parker, animator and co-author of the hit TV show said that comedy is already present in real-life politics. He added that creating the upcoming series will be a bit tricky since satire is already part of reality.

The Creative Team Has Encountered A Lot Of Difficulties

The creative team of Trey Parker has already encountered challenges with Donald Trump's presidential candidacy last year. He admitted that what was actually happening in Trump's trip to the White House was even funnier than what they could think of. Perhaps this is one of the major reasons why the release of "South Park" Season 21 is much delayed.

"South Park" Season 21 Will Be Apolitical?

In this respect, it appears that the upcoming season will be different than the previous ones. Parker said that "South Park" Season 21 will veer away from politics. He said he will let the politicians do their own comedy and that they will create their own.

But he also clarified his statement by saying that it is still too early to say if they will totally avoid making political satire in the upcoming season. So, maybe the fans can still expect the authors to produce one or two episodes of "South Park" Season 21 making caricatures of the new President sitting in the White House.

The Show Will Hit The Small Screen In The Latter Part of 2017

Given the difficulties and challenges, Parker could not really establish the release date of "South Park" Season 21. But it appears that it sure is coming in the latter part of 2017. The only uncertain thing about it is the exact date. It seems Comedy Central was able to convince the fans that the show is really on its way.

Fans Can Get Busy With The "South Park" Video Game

While the fans are eagerly waiting for the launch of "South Park" Season 21, they can busy their minds with "South Park: The Fractured But Whole." This is a video game based on the hit TV series. The latest news is that it will be released by Ubisoft in its coming fiscal year which covers April 2017 to March 2018.
