Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Receives Four New DLC Maps

Activision has just confirmed an upcoming DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, which will feature four new maps. The DLC will be arriving on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. However, PlayStation 4 players will receive the new content first on March 21, which is priced at $14.99.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Variety Map Pack is described as a throwback experience of several most classic maps in Modern Warfare history. The bundle includes maps such as Creek, Broadcast, Chinatown and Killhouse.

The Creek Map is a wide-open town ravaged by war where camouflage is the difference between life and death. Broadcast, on the other hand, is a communications building of the enemy with restricted hallways and wide-open parking lots. The third map, Chinatown, is a downtown quarter, stricken by a full moon and neon glow of the city. Lastly, the Killhouse map is a small warehouse for the extreme close-quarters commotion.

Apparently, fans have been divided regarding this new content of the game. Some comments seem to be focused on the fact that Modern Warfare Remastered is an older game. It was released initially without all of its maps and more are arriving with a price. Meanwhile, some also do not want to purchase Infinite Warfare , which is a requirement to grab a copy of Modern Warfare Remastered.

Although, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered did receive a set of free DLC maps, which brings back the original number of maps. At the same time, adding new options to the map selection. These four upcoming maps were initially offered as DLC for the original game, which expounds why they are offered with a price today. However, the fact that the game is old, many fans expect for free or discounted maps arriving.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
