Paladins Now Enters Closed Beta On Console; Enter To Get A Free Code

Hi-Rez Studios has announced that its first-person shooter game Paladins finally enters the closed beta stage on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game has been previously on the closed alpha state for several months. Meanwhile, the company provided the details regarding the latest milestone of Paladins on consoles.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, despite entering the closed beta, players are still required a code to play the game. They can acquire the game code by simply signing up to Paladins website. However, getting a code might take some time, as Hi-Rez Studios does not release them until a new update is up.

Meanwhile, for those who chose not to wait for the code, they can purchase the game's Founder's Pack that will grant them several in-game bonuses. Based on the report, buying the bundle will grant an instant access to the game. Additionally, it includes 10 Radiant Chests, 72,000 Essence, Infernal Horse Mount Skin and an exclusive God of War Beta Skin for Fernando.

Founder's Pack also unlocks all current and future champions arriving at the game along with their respective voice packs. Furthermore, for those players who wish to purchase the pack, it is currently on sale including the PC version. The Founder's pack can be bought for $14.99 until March 28.

On the other hand, the bundle includes a free Fernando Skin for Ares on Smite, which happens to be also available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Paladins closed beta on the console will include all contents of the Season 1 patch like the Legendary Cards, three PvP modes, the co-op mode and the Competitive Ranked mode. In addition, all 22 current champions are also available.

GamesRadar reported that Hi-Rez provided 50,000 beta keys to each PlayStation and Xbox One platforms. However, it is noted that Xbox One keys are the only ones available internationally since PS4 keys are only accessible to North and South America.
