Apple Prioritizes iPad Pro Over MacBook Air, Reason Behind Stopping Laptop Production Unveiled

The Apple MacBook Air has been a very popular product ever since its conception, but it now looks like Apple is about to say farewell to the iconic device so that they can make some room and more exposure for their iPad Pro. The latest news recently came from a supplier of Apple, saying that the Cupertino-based tech company isn't going to be placing any more orders for the MacBook Air.

MacBook Air Discontinued

According to Auto Mobile, the said supplier has already contacted Apple to enquire further as they first thought that it was just a mistake, but Apple said and confirmed that the product has officially been discontinued and will no longer see production in the future.

Some People Still Want The MacBook Air

Many analysts are claiming that people should not blame Apple for reaching this point of conclusion, as, after all, the MacBook Air hasn't been selling all that well in the first place. Many would argue that they still could have kept it around for the sake of some potential buyers, but in the end, it would have been pointless anyway.

Apple Is Moving On

Right now, Apple is focused more on its iPad Pro device, intending to make room for the iPad Pro as it is rapidly becoming very popular as it works as a 2 in1 device. According to Quartz, the iPad Pro is a hybrid device that can be used as both a tablet and a standard laptop.

A great option for the iPad series is also to go along with the MacBook Pro, which just means that the MacBook Air isn't going to get enough attention in the long run. This means that it would only be practical for Apple to get rid of the device now or face more problems with it remaining in the lineup.
