The team of the British drama, "Poldark" has just finished filming its season 3 and fans are only waiting to learn the official release of the installment. A more exciting update though that viewers are waiting for are the teasers that will give them a hint on what to expect from their favorite show. Latest spoilers then have it that Ross Poldark will have a new love interest for a character that will be played by a new cast member.
"Poldark" season 3 has previously signed a set of new cast game-changing characters that will be played by new cast members. Among them is the young actress Esme Coy. It was revealed that Coy will play the character Rowella Chynoweth which talks have it will be a new woman squeezing herself in Ross Poldark's heart.
Fans have different reactions about the addition of Rowella in the story. Some readers of the novel where "Poldark" was based expressed their "disgust" over the character while some others chose to commend Esme rather than criticize her role. Some others say that they are not sure who Rowella Chynoweth is, but some claim that she is closely connected to Captain Ross Poldark.
While many are already assuming that Rowella will bring chaos to Ross and Demelza's relationship, avid fans would recall that the Poldark couple already had a discussion about the young girl saying: "I think I saw her in Truro today. She's a strange creature if ever there was one. Dowdy clothes and a dowdy walk, but...somehow she draws the eye."
Following this, it can safe to say that Rowella will not be romantically linked with Ross. Readers of the book also claim that Rowella is rather a "manipulator." It was revealed that the character had an affair with her brother-in-law as cited in the novel. She also tricked the man into thinking that she is pregnant with his child so he can extract money from him. These kinds of acts are being theorized to test the Poldarks, but not to the extent that the captain will connect to her intimately.
Fans then will have to wait until "Poldark" season 3 comes to small screens to find out what role will Rowella play in the lives of the Poldarks.
