'Outlander' Season 3 Star Caitriona Balfe Quits Filming After Split With Sam Heughan? Supposed Couple Tired Of Relationship Rumors

"Outlander" has definitely won the hearts of many historical drama lovers, but the show's stars, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan seem to have earned more fans. Many people are seemingly addicted to the on-screen chemistry of the stars where they are often rumored to be lovers in real life. However, Heughan's appearance at an event with another celebrity broke the hearts of "Outlander" fans but the actors were quick to debunk the talks, saying they were never in a relationship, to begin with.

A recent rumor about "Outlander" season 3 stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe claim that the couple split up because of a third party through "The Bold and the Beautiful" actress, Mackenzie Mauzy. As witnessed by many, Heughan and Mauzy went to the Oscars weekend kick-off party in February which sparked speculations that the "Outlander" lead actor is cheating on Balfe.

Following this, some reports shared that Balfe almost quit filming because of her broken heart. However, it seems that the rumors were unfounded since both Heughan and Balfe have been denying being in a relationship since the beginning.

Although not yet officially announced, Sam Heughan and Mackenzie Mauzy seem to be confirming their alleged relationship by going on events together as well as several social media posts tagged to each other. Mauzy, in particular, updates her followers on Instagram about her connection with the "Outlander" actor where she even posted a status that she is with Heughan in South Africa where the popular drama is being filmed.

On the other hand, Caitriona Balfe also said that she is seeing someone. The 37-year-old actress is in a relationship with a pub owner, Tony McGill. Both Balfe and Heughan have been denying the rumors on their interviews together and individually, and the stars recently said that they are already getting tired of the repetitious talks that are linking them with each other.

"Honestly I'm tired of that conversation," Caitriona Balfe reportedly said in an interview as cited by Inquisitr. "This is fantasy. This is our job. We are very different in our private life. We are best friends," she continued to explain. Sam Heughan also said something similar in an interview while ensuring that their on stage love do not actually translate in real life.
