Persona 5 DLC Pays Homage To Previous Games, Full Schedule Here

Persona 5 contains a wealth of content as well as bonus items like costumes and soundtracks that players can buy. These downloadable contents (DLC) give the characters some new threads while also referencing the previous games in the series.

According to GameSpot, Atlus has recently shared the full DLC schedule for its upcoming game. Keep in mind that none of the bonus items is mandatory to complete the game and simply pay respects to the other games in the franchise. Aside from the Persona titles, Atlus even included costumes from its other games like Shin Megami Tensei IV and Catherine.

Luckily, Atlus will be releasing two sets of DLC: paid and free. For the latter content, the prices will range from $3 to $7. On the other hand, Atlus will also be releasing some character-specific themes throughout April that will cost $2 on the PS4 and $1 for the PS3.

Persona 5 Free DLC Details

Firstly, the free DLC distribution will begin on April 4 and will include the New Difficulty Level Challenge, Japanese Audio Track, Skill Card Set and Healing Item Set. Following this, the April 11 DLC brings in the Regular Clothes & School Uniforms Set. Meanwhile, the 20th Anniversary Logo Morgana Car Sticker and Phantom Thieves Logo Morgana Car Sticker will arrive on April 18.

Moving on, fans can download the Swimsuit Set on April 25 with the Maid & Butler Costume Set coming on June 6. Finally, the last batch of free DLC arrives on July 11 as the Christmas Costume Set.

Persona 5 Paid DLC Details

That aside, the paid DLC will start on April 11 and includes the Persona 4 Costume & BGM Special Set ($7), Persona 3 Costume & BGM Special Set ($7), Izanagi & Izanagi Picaro Set ($3) and Orpheus & Orpheus Picaro Set ($3). The next batch comes on April 18 with the Thanatos & Thanatos Picaro Set ($3), Magatsu Izanagi & Magatsu Izanagi Picaro Set ($3), Kaguya & Kaguya Picaro Set ($3), Shin Megami Tensei: Persona Costume & BGM Special Set ($7), Shin Megami Tensei If Costume & BGM Special Set ($7) and Persona 2 Costume & BGM Special Set ($7).

Following this, the April 25 set has the Asterius & Asterius Picaro Set ($3), Tsukiyomi & Tsukiyomi Picaro Set ($3), Ariadne & Ariadne Picaro Set ($3), Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Costume & BGM Special Set ($7), Shin Megami Tensei IV Costume & BGM Special Set ($7) and Persona 4: Dancing All Night Costume & BGM Special Set ($7). Lastly, the last paid free DLC batch includes the Messiah & Messiah Picaro Set ($3), Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha Costume & BGM Special Set ($7) and the Catherine Costume & BGM Special Set ($7) which will arrive on May 7.

Persona 5 Bonuses And Limited Edition

That aside, PVP Live reports that the game will come in three different editions: standard, steelbook and the "Take Your Heart." Both the standard and the steelbook edition will cost $59.99 for the PS4 with the former coming with a special controller skin. The PS3 version of the standard edition costs $42.00 while the "Take Your Heart" is priced at $89.99 and includes a Morgana plushie, hardcover art book, a steelbook copy of the game, collectors box, soundtrack and a school bag.

Persona 5 has already received many positive reviews from fans and critics for its compelling narrative and impressive style. The game will officially arrive on both the PS3 and PS4 on April 4.
