Nintendo Direct is set to air a special presentation for avid gamers this Wednesday, April 12, at 6 p.m. ET. This is the first in a long time for the gaming company to broadcast special announcements directly to your gaming devices. The presentation reportedly will focus on the company’s list of game titles to come for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch.

The main focus this week will be on Arms and Splatoon 2, which are original releases, and set to head to the Switch in Spring. The two major titles are the Switch's biggest upcoming exclusives that are set to offer more fun to the new consoles gamers. The release dates for either game has not yet been set by the, so the Direct this Wednesday is a good bet for more information about it.

According to Polygon, Nintendo Direct's Splatoon 2 had been tested early in March during a global multiplayer stress test held by the company. The interesting thing about the game was that its stylish squid shooter was conveniently similar to the first one.

The other game, the Arms, is dubbed as the most exciting to watch in Direct as it is a new property from Nintendo. The game multiplayer game has superheroic characters punch each other with special using the Joy-Con controllers that. There are also new games for Nintendo 3DS this year.

According to Eurogamer, no other information about the Nintendo Direct has been reported, but there's always the possibility of the company to pop up another surprise. Perhaps there will be additional news about the delayed Animal Crossing mobile game. Something about the Switch's Virtual Console Plans could also surface.
