‘Scandal’ Season 6 Spoilers: Presidency Puts Olivia's Life In Danger

"Scandal" Season 6 spoilers suggest that Olivia's life might be in danger because of the presidency. If Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) becomes the president, Olivia (Kerry Washington) might find herself in a tricky situation. The next episode of the ABC show, called "Trojan Horse," also shows that Peus will use another victim to be more powerful at the White House.

The promo for the next episode suggests that Peus prefers Mellie (Bellamy Young) as the next U.S. president, as Papa Pope (Joe Mortin) tells his daughter that "they" will kill her if Cyrus becomes the president. This is tricky for Olivia, as Cyrus has been declared innocent in Francisco Vargas' murder. He is also likely to get the majority of the votes, as the previous president-elect had him as the vice president-elect.

"Scandal" Season 6 Episode 11 listing says that Olivia and the team are determined to bring down Peus. However, the Electoral College vote is going to take place soon, and it is expected to claim another victim in the fight for power. What may work for Olivia is that Mellie still wants the presidency. Even though Olivia now knows Cyrus was innocent in Frankie's murder, she must fight her conscience before she tries to bring him down.

According to Entertainment Weekly, it is difficult to predict if "Scandal" Season 6 will get a new U.S. president by the end of the show. According to "Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes, the makers of the show are in constant debate about whether there should be a new president or not. However, Rhimes said that it might just happen.

Rhimes has told The Hollywood Reporter that it is really difficult to write the show the way they used to since everything that might be written is now happening in real life. "Scandal" season 6 Episode will air on Thursday, April 20 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
