Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered; Players Disappointed With The Latest Map Pack

Even if the latest Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was available for PS4 for more than a month now, the players of Xbox One and PC were surprised when they saw the price. They are asking Activision if there is a possibility that the pack will be free.

Players of PS4 maybe contented with the Variety Map Pack for COD: Modern Warfare Remastered, but XB1 and PC users are not happy about it. Activision priced the DLC at $15 and players have commented that it is a bit much, according to Kotaku.

One Reddit user even said that since COD: Modern Warfare Remastered is basically the same game nine years ago, then Activision should not charge for the content. Also, the company offered the DLC free for PC users before, while Xbox 360 and PS3 users only paid not more than $10.

The other option is for players to wait for Activision to sell COD: Modern Warfare Remastered as a standalone video game. As previously known, they can only access the Variety Map Packs if they have the copy of COD: Infinite Warfare. If they do not have it, then, they have to pay more.

Also, Steam users are commenting that they are having trouble accessing the multiplayer campaign in COD: Modern Warfare Remastered. This also brought the question again, as to why Activision charges them $15 if the maps are not working properly.

The Variety Map Pack includes the multiplayer maps for COD: Modern Warfare Remastered. They can enjoy roaming around Chinatown, Broadcast, Killhouse and Creek, as per WWG. They are the same maps present nine years ago before Activision decided to reinvent the game.

Hopefully, Activision will release an announcement on any plans regarding the price of the DLC for COD: Modern Warfare Remastered. For now, if players really want to enjoy the same old game, then their only choice is to buy the Variety Map Pack.
