Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 $179 For New Customers And Upgrades (Deal Alert)

Verizon announced that the Samsung Galaxy S4 is now available to purchase online and in Verizon Wireless stores. The 16GB Verizon Galaxy S4 cost $199 when signing a new 2-year contract. Amazon has just undercut Verizon by offering the Galaxy S4 for $179 for new customers and upgrades. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is the current flagship offering from Samsung and we just reported the company announced it has sold over 10 million Samsung Galaxy S4s.

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 5-inch, 441 ppi (pixels per inch) 1920 x 1080 full HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, a 1.9GHz quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage. It also packs 2GB of RAM, a microSD expansion slot with support for up to 64GB microSD cards, a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto flash and zero shutter lag, and a 2-megapixel front camera. The rear camera also includes HD 1080p video capture at 30fps, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n//ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE radio, infrared LED universal remote control, and it is powered by a large 2,600mAh removable battery.

Don't forget to do yourself a favor and pick up a very inexpensive miscroSD card on Amazon while Samsung investigates on how it can free up space on the Galaxy S4. You'll have 8.82GB of available storage without a microSD card until Samsung releases a software update to increase space by optimizing software on the Galaxy S4.

Amazon is offering the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 16GB in choice of black or white for $179.99 for new subscribers and upgrades. You'll need to sign a new 2-year contract to get this price. Amazon is also offering free two-day shipping.
