‘Dragon Ball Super' New Trailer Hints Universe 7’s Strategy? Vegito Still No Match For Beerus

Toei Animation has updated fans of “Dragon Ball Super” with the release of a brand new trailer and the ongoing debate of whether or not Vegito can actually defeat Beerus has finally reached a final verdict, backed up with reasons why.

New Trailer Released For Universe Survival Arc

It has not been that long since “Dragon Ball Super” kicked off its Universe Survival Arc and the said plot has yet to show the anticipated Tournament of Power. Fans have already seen the introduction of the arc with the Zen-Oh Exhibition Match and the gathering of the 12 universes. With Goku and Gohan’s journey of finding the strongest warriors drawing to an end, a new trailer has been released featuring the final line-up of Team Universe 7’s mightiest fighters.

Intrigued by the new trailer, fans are pointing out that the said trailer might actually be hinting at Universe 7’s strategy for the Tournament of Power, which is actually a battle royal. As shown in the trailer, the strongest ones so far, Goku, Vegeta, and Majin Buu will be fighting solo. The Android siblings, as well as Gohan and Piccolo, will be teaming up in their own two-man groups. And lastly, the humans among the teams, Tien Shinhan, Krillin, and Master Roshi will be a three-man team.

Beerus Is Still Stronger Than Vegito

The debate on who will win in a match between Goku and Vegeta’s fusion, Vegito and god of destruction Beerus has been resurrected after the release of “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 23. The said chapter revealed the true powers of Vegito. Supreme kai Shin was amazed at the transformation that he himself admitted that Vegito might actually be the one to surpass Beerus.

After thorough research, Geekdom101 has come up with a feasible argument that Vegito still cannot defeat Beerus. Vegito may be the strongest one in Universe 7 but because of the limitations of the Potara earring fusion, Vegito will not be able to maintain his monstrous power to even defeat Beerus, whose limitations remain unknown until now. It has been revealed in the “Dragon Ball Super” series that despite the Potara fusion being permanent and having no time limit, the transformation will automatically diffuse after the release of too much power, which was the case when Vegito attacked with a Kamehameha.
