Another HTC U 11 Leak Surfaces And Confirms Its Superb Specs

A day after the impressive specs of the HTC U 11 was leaked by Gear India, a fresh new one has come out basically confirming what was previously rumored. The new leak, which was spotted on the social network Weibo, shows that the HTC U 11 will be powered by the best processor in the business and will come with other high-end features.

An image showing the AnTuTu benchmark results of the HTC U 11 was posted on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Facebook. The leak indicates the smartphone will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor making it as powerful as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and other upcoming flagship handsets. The HTC U 11, codenamed HTC "Ocean", will also come with 4GB of RAM as seen in the new leak. However, the previous one indicated that it will have up to 6GB of RAM.

The highly anticipated HTC flagship will also have 64GB ROM and the Adreno 540 GPU, which was not indicated in the previous leak. The HTC U 11 will sport a 5.5-inch QHD (1440 x 2560) display and will run on Android 7.1.1 operating system according to Tech Radar. Furthermore, the device will have a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 12-megapixel front-facing one.

Trusted Reviews mentioned other expected features gathered from previous rumors that will make it to the HTC U 11. These include dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, and Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0. The company will also lend its EdgeSense, BoomSound, and Usonic active cancellation technologies to the HTC U 11. Additionally, the device will have 3D audio recording and microSDXC card expansion up to 2TB.

GeekBench test results of what could possibly be the HTC U 11's was also revealed showing that the flagship smartphone scored 1912 and 6137 in the single- and double-core categories, respectively. Leakster extraordinaire Evan Blass mentioned that the handset will come in five various colors. The HTC U 11 will be launched on May 16.
