Previews On New For Honor Maps, Heroes Have Been Released

Just a couple of days left and the second season of For Honor will arrive. Now, Ubisoft is starting to build hype, giving previews on what fans will be experiencing; and so far, judging by the looks of it, the community is indeed on a huge rollercoaster ride.

According to IGN, the video game company has unleashed a number of trailers highlighting the upcoming For Honor content. These are basically a heads-up to what the new heroes -- namely, the Shinobi and the Centurion -- will be as well as the brand new maps. The videos also highlight the upcoming season titled Shadow and Might.

The trailers offer an in-depth look at the forthcoming characters. The Shinobi, in particular, offers the grace of a dancer and the precision of a killer. This one here, in particular, will be joining the Samurai faction. The weapon of choice here is the kusarigamas, which is a chain whip with a sickle on one end and a weight on the other one. It specializes in either close or long-range combat.

The Centurion, on the other hand, is more of a strategy-driven hero. He sees the battlefield as some sort of "chessboard," which he will have to conquer using his brains and might, as reported by Heavy. He will be joining the Knight faction. This one here is inspired from the Greek gladiators and fights with a short sword called gladius. He is also fond of using his fists during close combats.

It is worth noting that all the new maps and gameplay updates will be made available to everyone for free when For Honor Season 2 arrives. The next season is expected to be launched come May 16. As for the characters, the season pass holders will be the very first one to acquire. For the non-holders, to unlock the Shinobi and the Centurion, they will have to use the in-game currency come May 23.
