HTC One phablet with HTC T6 codename expected to make its way to Verizon

We had recently reported on an upcoming HTC One phablet and HTC One mini. The rumor mill is now kicking into high gear about the upcoming HTC One phablet, with new reports claiming the device could be heading to Verizon and there will be more than one version being launched for different regions around the world.

Verizon subscribers have been left out of the HTC One party and have been hoping that the carrier would begin offering the very popular smartphone. It looks like their wish might be coming true, in the form of an HTC One phablet. We also reported that HTC's Director of Public Relations, Tom Harlin recently said, "When we announce our next product with Verizon, we'll make a big deal about it so you're all aware." Could that "big deal" have been a hint that the smartphone would be a phablet? It sure sounds like it now if the rumors are to be believed. The HTC One phablet is expected to replace the already discounted Verizon HTC DROID DNA .

According to the very reliable evleaks, the HTC One phablet is currently going by the codename HTC T6, which also lines up with a leak from HTC Soku. The site has come across unpublished terminal, which reveals an HTC smartphone with the codename T6; there are 5 variants of the device listed. The smartphones have different radios depending on region and one of the models includes radios that support Verizon's 4G LTE network.

The HTC One phablet is expected to retain one of the best features of the HTC One, its aluminum unibody case. The exact size of the display of the phablet is unknown, but it will probably be above 5-inches and below 6-inches. The specs of the device have also been rumored to match the current HTC One. Users can expect a very capable phablet that not only has great looks, but will also have a fast quad-core processor to provide a very fast and fluid user experience.

Things are looking good for Verizon subscribers, but with all rumors buzzing around, they may want to take this one with a huge grain of salt.
