‘Halo Wars 2' Latest News: HDR Support Is Arriving With Next DLC Patch Next Week

The latest news indicates that HDR support is finally coming to Halo Wars 2., which was not included when the game was initially launched. Thankfully 343 Industries has decided that it's about time the video game gets this support.

The game publisher has not revealed the exact release date of Halo Wars 2 HDR support, but some observers believe that it will come sometime next week. Apparently, it will be timed with the release of the game's next DLC patch. However, this additional support will only be enjoyed by gamers who have compatible hardware.

What Is The Value Of HDR Support?

Gamers who use Xbox One S along with HDR compatible TV, will experience significantly improved image quality. With this feature, picture colors will be more brilliant, whites will be brighter, and contrast will be increased. PC gamers with HDR monitor will also enjoy the same gaming experience.

The DLC Patch Comes With Fixes and Game Improvements

The upcoming DLC patch of Halo Wars 2 will contain several fixes and improvements. With this updated patch, players will no longer have the chance of loading into the game without being able to give any commands. It also fixes a desync that happens when gamers are playing 2v2 games.
