Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Trailer At E3 2017 Shows Off New Adventure; Game Going Back To Its Tomb Raiding Roots?

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy reveal trailer was previewed recently by Sony at E3 2017. The trailer shows off new adventures for the characters of the game. From what was previewed, it seems that the game is going back to its tomb raiding roots.

The Gameplay Is Full Of Ancient Ruins And Expansive Open World

The trailer presented new and gorgeous ruins together with expansive areas of the game's open world that gamers can explore. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is actually a spinoff of the original Uncharted video game that starred Nathan Drake. In this new game, Chloe Frazer, a treasure hunter, is teaming up with Nadine Ross, a mercenary and a carry-over from Uncharted 4: A Thief's End released last year.

Chloe And Nadine Will Be At Loggerheads

In Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Chloe and Nadine will be at each other's throats. This is clearly hinted by the reveal trailer where the two are shown fighting each other, albeit saving each other's lives as well. The backdrop of their adventures and misadventures are gorgeous ruins, priceless treasures, and wide expansive forests and wilderness.

The Game Is Going Back To Its Tomb Raiding Roots

Such settings give the viewers of the reveal trailer an impression that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is going back to its tomb raiding roots. It appears that the gameplay will be featuring booby traps, large-scale puzzles, ancient ruins, statues and artifacts typical of the Tomb Raider movies.

As it stands, the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy reveal trailer was full of action and tomb explorations. But it also showed some heated moments between the two main characters Chloe and Nadine. One scene even showed Nadine striking Chloe with her fists. There were also some other male characters which seem to make life more difficult for the two Amazons.

From Sony's promotional information, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be free for gamers who have already bought the add-on bundles of Uncharted 4. It will be available for first-time buyers at $30.00 on Aug. 22 but only on PlayStation 4.
