The latest 2023 Ferrari Purosangue leak reveals numerous surprising details about the first ever SUV of the Italian super car manufacturer.

2023 Ferrari Purosangue Leak Unveils Major Design Change

Ferrari is known for producing luxurious sports cars, which are being marketed all over the world. Surprisingly, it appears that the Italian super car manufacturer is adding a new type of vehicle for its customers.

For those curious about the said car, several reports stated that it will be a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) called Purosangue. As some might be aware, this 2022, Lamborghini released its SUV referred to as Urus.

According to its description, the Lamborghini Urus is the world's first Super Sport Utility Vehicle, combining the spirit of a supercar with the "functionality" of an SUV. Urus can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds and achieve a high speed of 190 mph through its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 650 CV and 850 Nm of torque.

This creative approach to Lamborghini DNA incorporates design, performance, driving dynamics and driving passion seamlessly. In terms of design, the Lamborghini Urus is an all-around super sports car.

On the other hand, the 2023 Ferrari Purosangue leak showed that the SUV will have similarities with SF90.

Instagram user @Wilcoblok posted a photo showing the front end and back end of the SUV.

In addition to the SF90 resemblance, Car Scoops noted its split headlight design which is joined in the middle with a body line. Aside from that, Ferrari has opted not to align the grille with the headlights, unlike their previous front-engined vehicles. Rather, it sits at the bottom of the bumper--similar to the Porsche Panamera--and resembles a central intake rather than a grille

Car Scoops added that the 2023 Ferrari Purosangue has a resemblance to the Ferrari 296 GTB since it has a considerably more traditional appearance, with quad taillights joined in the center, quad tailpipes, and a wide diffuser.

2023 Ferrari Purosangue Leak: Specifications

Despite the fact that there are no confirmations yet, some reports claimed that the Purosangue will be launched with a turbocharged engine combined with electric motors, as well as an aspirated 6.5-litre V12 speculated to follow.

Meanwhile, other recent talks hint that the Puosangue would have the V6 hybrid powertrain from the 296 GTB. If this 2023 Ferrari Purosangue rumor is true, the SUV will have 819 horsepower (830 PS / 611 kW) and a torque of 546 lb-ft (740 Nm).

Even if Ferrari opted to forego the electric motor in order to avoid intruding on their mid-engined sports vehicles, the 2.9L twin-turbo V6 produces a strong 654 horsepower (663 PS / 488 kW) on its own, per Car Scoops.

With regards to the release date, Ferrari stated in its 2021 sales report (via Car Buzz) that the production of the Purosangue will begin this year, with deliveries beginning in 2023.

Even though the reported details seem to be exciting, keep in mind that Ferrari has yet to address the aforementioned claims.
