Sonic Origins' release date is likely near after a leaked retro compilation of the upcoming Sega gaming title surfaced on PlayStation Network (PSN) along with its rating in South Korea.

Sonic Origins Leak
As per a news story by Games Radar, the much-awaited announcement of Sonic Origins could likely be a stone's throw away from today if the latest international game rating were to be based upon.
The news outlet noted that the PC version of the upcoming Sonic game now has a rating in South Korea. On top of that, an artwork of the game, which sports a potential logo, leaked straight from the backend of the PSN.
Meanwhile, according to the latest report by ComicBook.com, it has been a while since fans of the Sega franchise have heard anything about the upcoming gaming title. Thus, there has been no news about the retro compilation game for several months.
In fact, some observers have already speculated that Sonic Origins have been silently canceled already.
However, two simultaneous leaks saw the light of day recently, confirming that the upcoming Sonic Origins is far from being buried.
On the flip side, the latest leaks also suggest a nearing release date announcement for Sonic Origins.
Sonic Origins Leak Key Art
The leaked part of the upcoming Sonic game was uploaded straight from the servers of PlayStation.
ComicBook.com noted in the same report that the website, Tails' Channel, claimed that the leaked Sonic Origins art is promotional material for the upcoming game.
However, the former went on to add that the leaked art also appears to be a fit for the cover art of the approaching Sega game.

Sonic Origins Rating
Apart from the leaked art, the PC version of Sonic Origins now has a rating in South Korea.
The Game Rating and Administration Committee of South Korea rated the upcoming gaming title with an All Ages badge.
The latest rating further confirmed that the long silence of Sega regarding Sonic Origins does not mean that it has been quietly canceled.
