‘Overwatch 2’ Releases on October 4: No More Loot Boxes, New Hero Every 18 Weeks, and More

Blizzard announced the release of the Overwatch 2 on October 4. From being a paid, premium game, it will be a free-to-play game. But it won't come with randomized loot boxes like the original Overwatch have.

The Overwatch 2 will instead have a seasonal model. It will be supported by "battle passes and an in-game store, through which players can purchase cosmetic items outright with real-world money," as per Polygon report.

With the new game, you can team up with friends and enjoy the reimagined 5-vs-5 gameplay. There will be daily challenges and frequent updates available.
