Animatronic jumpscares will soon be coming to the Xbox Series X and Xbox One consoles.
Maximum Games recently announced it is releasing Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach along with a limited collector's edition for the previously mentioned gaming consoles later in 2022.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is the next chapter in the Fight Nights at Freddy's (FNAF) universe.
FNAF: Security Breach Details
Maximum Games mentioned in its announcement that players of the game would discover why children and adults love Freddy Fazbear's collection of animatronics, such as Glamrock Chica, Roxanne Wolf, and Montgomery Gator. To do so, players will have to guide young (and trapped) protagonist Gregory through a series of "terrifying encounters" with murderous machines that roam the halls of the pizza parlor at night.
However, the all-new Mega PizzaPlex is now at three-stories tall, and is expected to bring "the most thrilling and terrifying pizzeria yet."
Players will get to experience the "hilarious, horror-themed games" where they would explore night-time activities within the Mega Pizza Plex's confines. They also meet new characters and even use the latest animatronic technology to interact with the animatronics themselves.
However, once the nighttime protocols are initiated, the animatronics within the PizzaPlex will pursue all intruders, which includes little Gregory.

Players can play as Gregory however they want, but Maximum Games advises that they have to adapt if they wish to keep Gregory alive and escape the PizzaPlex in one piece.

Players interested in getting more than just the base game can opt to get the limited collector's edition which will also be available later in 2022.
Those who opt to get the collector's edition will a Maximum Games Exclusive 12-inch Sun and Moon Daycare Attendant Duo Plush and Vanny Vinyl Figure by YouTooz, a Dr. Hippo magnet, and a collectible Plush Pin Set featuring characters in the game.
They will also get an FNAF: Security Breach SteeBook and a Mega Pizzaplex Box, which is a replica of the game's three-story Mega PizzaPlex.
The physical version of the game will also be coming alonside its PlayStation versions later in 2022, according to The Xbox Hub.
The game was previously released on both last-gen and current gen consoles as well as the PC on December 16, 2021. However, Maximum games weren't offering a collector's edition at the time.
FNAF: Security Breach Release Date And Availability
Maximum Games mentioned that Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach will be released during fall 2022 for current-gen and last-gen consoles and the PCs. However, a listing on Amazon placed the collector's edition placed its release date by December 31, 2022, for $149.99.
Meanwhile, Maximum Games' official store mentioned that the collector's edition will be released on December 6, 2022, and will be sold at $149.99.
The listings on both websites suggest that the collector's edition is now available for pre-order, although the developer never mentioned in its announcement that players can pre-order it now.
