Overwatch Skin Giveaway to Support Twitch Streamers

While typically, Overwatch players have to complete a few in-game challenges or try their luck in a loot box to get the latest skin offerings, the new Medic Brigitte goes against the tide.

Instead, as per a news story by Forbes, Blizzard is now asking players of its hit multiplayer game to support a select number of Twitch streamers, including those with a massive following like xQc. But the long list of eligible streamers also embraces those with smaller fan bases.

To be more precise, Overwatch players need to gift three subscriptions to the eligible Twitch streamers.

Overwatch and Twitch Skin: How to Get

But first, there are some rules to follow before getting your hands on the Medic Brigitte skin.

According to the latest report by Twinfinite, players could only gift subscriptions to streamers during the period that the "Support a Streamer" partnership provided.

It starts on June 29 at 2 PM Eastern Time and ends by July 20 at 2 PM ET, giving participants ample time to support Twitch streamers while unlocking an Overwatch Legendary skin.

Forbes clearly notes in the same report that players who go beyond the specific period will not get the latest skin giveaway.

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 18: The Blizzard Entertainment campus stands on January 18, 2022 in Irvine, California. Microsoft announced a $68.7 billion purchase of Activision Blizzard in the largest gaming industry deal ever.

Aside from that, the Twitch and Blizzard partnership also require players to gift a subscription when the streamer is live under the Overwatch category on the video streaming service. Other than that, it would not count for a Legendary skin giveaway.

It is also worth noting that anonymous gift subscription would not be recognized as well.

But how do you get the Overwatch skin? Once you are finished with gifting three subscriptions to Twitch streamers, go straight to your notification inbox to get a code, which you could redeem on your Battle.net account.
