Steam Deck Reservation Orders Will Arrive by the End of the Year, Says Valve

Good news for the exciting fans of Steam Deck.

Valve said that those with Steam Deck reservation will receive their console by the end of the year. What's even better is those who will be making a new reservation will get their Steam Deck in Q4, as per The Verge.

Valve is Ramping Up Production of Steam Deck

"We're excited to announce that we're going to be able to fulfill demand sooner than we had estimated for everyone in the reservation queue," Valve wrote in a blog post. 

Valve added that "many of the supply chain shortcoming that affect Steam Deck are gradually clearing up." The company said that key have kept ramping up the production, therefore, production of Steam Decks is going to be faster than ever before.

There's even a better news for people who had "Q4 or later" as the reservation windows have been moved up to Q3. Check your reservation window at the Steam Deck's Steam page to know if there have been changes for you. 

Since its launch, Valve has continually ramped up shipments. The company has started sending reservation emails twice a week in April. Last month, it said that it would be sending double the number of Decks per week.

When it was first launched in February, the Steam Deck was still flawed. However, in the months after it was launched, Valve has released a lot of updates to make the handheld gaming PC fully ready for gamers. 

According to The Verge, Deck has an incredible control customization options. A software update also solved the problems about Deck's noisy fan.

Demands for Steam Deck Has Been High Since its Launch in February

Since Steam Deck was launched in February, there had been a high demand for the device.

Last month, Valve announced that they are increasing Steam Deck production, and they are shipping "more than double the number of Steam Decks every week," as per iTech Post.

Furthermore, the company also announced last month that Q3 order fulfillment is set to begin. With this, those who have reservations started to receive emails after June 30. In addition, they also have sent out Q2 emails.

Valve initially plan to send Steam Decks in December last year. But because of supply chain issue, the release was delayed.

But now, the company has has found the parts and production capacity needed to create units at a faster pace. With this, they can get the Steam Deck to customers more quickly.

You can get Steam Deck at these prices: 64GB for $400, 256GB for $529, 512GB for $649, according to Game Spot. The console is perfect to play Steam games on-the-go.

The Steam Deck  was released in February of this year, however only those who preordered got theirs at the launch. 

After the console was made available to the public, the Steam Deck has earned good reviews for its performance, convenience, and capabilities. 

There are reviews saying that the Deck is a little bit on the heavier side, but is nevertheless a good quality console.
