Horror games, like horror movies, are not for the faint of heart to say the least. But if you are up for the challenge, there are a number of great horror games on Steam that you can find.
For today's #TheSteamSix article, we are going to focus one of those games and it happens to be a newly released one as it just came out on August 25.

1. The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation Basic Facts
As previously mentioned, The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation was released on August 25 so it is a pretty new game. It is developed by Softstar Entertainment and published by Softstar Entertainment as well along with Gamera Games.
As we also noted, it is a horror RPG, but there is more to it than that as well. We'll talk about that in a short while.
2. The Game is Inspired by a Taiwanese Urban Legend
According to the game's Steam page, The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation is based on one of the best known scary college urban legends in Taiwan. It is known as "The Bridge Curse."
What this urban legend is pretty much all about is that there is a ghost of a woman that haunts a bridge in a Taiwanese university called Tunghai University. This urban legend has also inspired a 2020 film named "The Bridge Curse" as well.
And guess what? The movie is available to stream on Netflix.
3. What The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation is All About
The game is set in Tunghu University where, like the urban legend it takes inspiration from, an infamous haunted bridge is located.
Six students have decided to challenge the said urban legend and end up finding themselves having to deal with a curse. From then on, it becomes a game of survival as the female ghost haunting the bridge sets her sights on all of you.

4. Stealth is the Name of the Game
The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation is definitely not the type of horror game where you can pick up a gun or other weapons and just kill monsters to survive. To survive this game, you are going to need your stealth skills.
The last thing you want when you play this game is for the female ghost to spot you. Since this is the case, you will have to learn how to move around without being seen and heard.
5. You Will Have to Solve Puzzles
This game is not about just running around and hiding from a scary spirit. Your end goal is still to survive and to be able to do that, you will need to solve some puzzles.
You will also have to gather items and conduct your own investigation in your quest to break the curse that is suddenly haunting you.
