Walmart reduces the prices of iPad 4, iPad 2, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S

Walmart has reduced the prices of iPhones and iPads, which could be in anticipation of the launch of new iDevices such as iPhone 5S, iPad 5 and more.

Apple launched the iPhone 5 in Sept. 2012 and the iPad 5 along with the iPad mini in Oct. 2012. Now rumors suggest that the company plans to launch next-generation iPhone 5S and the budget iPhone 5C on Sept. 10.

Some rumors also indicate that the company may launch iPad 5 and the iPad mini 2 at the same event. However, as the company has previously hosted two separate events for the launch of its iPhones and iPads, the tablets may appear at a later date.

Walmart has now reduced the price of the 16GB iPhone 5 to $98 on a new two-year contract or eligible upgrades on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. The handset previously had a price tag of $128.

The iPhone 4SS, which previously carried a price of $89, has now seen a price reduction of $50. Customers can now buy a new iPhone 4S for $39 on a new two-year contract or eligible contract from AT&T, Verizon or Sprint.

The retailer has also cut the prices of the 10-inch iPads by $50. The 16GB Wi-Fi only version of the iPad 4 with Retina display is now selling for $449, down from $499. The iPad 2, which was previously priced at $399, now has a price tag of $349. Both the black and white color options are available with the latest price reduction.

Unfortunately, customers who are looking to buy the iPad mini will not see a price reduction for the tablet at all. The retailer is still selling the 16GB Wi-Fi variant of the iPad mini for $329.

Other big retailers such as Best Buy and RadioShack have offers on iDevices, but the Walmart iDevices offer, by comparison, is currently the best deal you can find in the U.S.

With the impending launch of iPhone 5S and the the iPad 5, will you buy the current iPhones and iPads or wait for the next-generation devices to launch?
