Netflix's 'Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities' Gets New Trailer

From the directors of 'The Babadook' and 'Mandy', Guillermo del Toro's 'Cabinet of Curiosities' is out with its brand new trailer, and it is spine-chilling.

With Halloween just around the corner, the new Netflix anthology series unveils another binge-worthy story in a new trailer earlier this week, Collider reports.

'Cabinet of Curiosities' is A Twisted Horror Series for Thrillseekers

Out on October 25 with its first two episodes to premiere, Guillermo del Toro's eight-part anthology series provides a horrifying snapshot into his world through the trailer.

According to Gizmodo, the new trailer provides a downright creepy look at the cast of characters' encounters with ghosts, monsters, and even murderers, setting a hair-raising atmosphere for its viewers.

"Picture your minds like a cabinet, where you lock up your darkest thoughts and deepest fears," Guillermo Del Toro says about the latest horror treat that gives a peek at his cabinet for the world to see, AV Club writes.

'Cabinet of Curiosities' is the brainchild of the Oscar-winning director, who had a hand in its creation, executive production, and showrunning.

A Diverse Lineup of Stories Told In Different Ways

The new trailer for del Toro's 'Cabinet of Curiosities' allowed the viewers to have a taste of what is coming with a teaser for each episode, says Collider.

With specifics about the series being a secret to the audience, the new trailer sets up each tale and highlights the stories and actors, unlike the development-centered trailer released in August, according to Gizmodo.

It is revealed that this collection of thrilling stories will challenge traditional notions of horror through genre-defining storylines from macabre to magical types to gothic and grotesque stories, AV Club reports.

The original sinister stories will not only be told from del Toro's point of view but also from the creative lens of different directors who worked on six of the episodes that will be introduced in the installment.

The Netflix anthology series will include titles such as 'Lot 36,' 'Dreams of the Witch House,' 'Graveyard Rats,' 'Pickman's Model,' 'The Autopsy,' 'The Murmuring,' 'The Outside,' and 'The Viewing,' which will be released in pairs with introductions from del Toro himself, according to Rappler.

Gizmodo writes that Guillermo del Toro's 'Cabinet of Curiosities' stars horror staple Rupert Grint from Servant and a top-billed cast that includes big names such as F. Murray Abraham, Andrew Lincoln, Essie Davies, Hannah Galway, and David Hewlet, among others.

The Pan's Labyrinth director promises a chilling and exciting journey for those viewers who will be brave enough to take on the whole journey through each episode of 'Cabinet of Curiosities'.
