These Tabletop Games Require You to Download Apps Before Playing

People have enjoyed playing tabletop games to entertain themselves or pass the time for decades now. It may be argued that they are not as popular anymore thanks to the arrival of mobile phones, video game consoles, and the like. However, many tabletop game creators have learned to adapt to the times by integrating their games with technology.

What do we mean by that? These days, there are actually tabletop games that ask you to download their apps first before playing as it is an integral part of the overall experience. Here are some examples:

Chronicles of Crime

If you are a fan of board games that center on crime investigations, then Chronicles of Crime is one that you should not miss out on. The game requires you to download an app through which you will pick a case that the players have to solve. The one who does it in the shortest amount of time possible wins. You do not need internet connection to play, per Lucky Duck Games.

As for the VR aspect of the game, you are going to need your mobile phone as well as VR glasses, according to BoardGameGeek.

Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-Earth

One Night Ultimate Werewolf
