Timothy Donald Cook, a businessman from the United States, has held the position of seventh chief executive officer at Apple Inc. since 2011. Tim is now considered to be among the most successful and wealthy CEOs in the world.
Before being named CEO of Apple in August 2011, he served as Apple's Chief Operating Officer under company co-founder Steve Jobs, where he oversaw the company's global sales and operations. In addition, here are five additional things about Tim Cook that you most likely were not aware of.

1.Tim Cook Is Openly Gay

Cook made the revelation about his sexual orientation in an editorial that was published in 2014 in Bloomberg Businessweek. This made Cook one of the most prominent openly gay CEOs in the entire world. Cook has been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ equality and acceptance through the use of his platform.

2. Cook Is A Fitness Enthusiast

While Cook has maintained a strict level of privacy in all other aspects of his life, he has not been shy about sharing his passion for physical fitness.
