5 Netflix Documentaries That Remind You Just How Fascinating Animals Are

It's hard not to find animals so interesting and intriguing, especially when you consider that there are millions of species that currently exist on Earth. While after science and technology have allowed us to learn more about them, there is still much to discover given the sheer number of animals that are around.

Fortunately for all of us, there a number of animal documentaries that aim to educate the audiences about the other creatures we share our planet with. Here are five examples of those that are streaming on Netflix. The documentaries listed below include full-length documentary films as well as limited series and docuseries with more than one season. 

'Animal'

This 2021 documentary, as of press time, has two seasons that give the audience a closer look at specific animals, such as octopus, marsupials, dolphins, and birds of prey. The documentary also features some celebrity narrators, including Pedro Pascal, Rebel Wilson, Anthony Mackie, and Rashida Jones.

If you have ever been curious about the mating rituals of birds, then "Dancing with the Birds" is a documentary should watch as soon as you can. Released in 2019, this documentary features different species of birds. Among them are the black sicklebill, King of Saxony bird-of-paradise, and MacGregor's bowerbird.
