‘Love, Death, & Robots’ Episodes You Should Not Miss

Netflix, although being hated by some for canceling their favorite shows, has admittedly released some pretty good shows, "Love, Death, & Robots" among them. With that being said, here are some episodes that you should not miss.

1. 'Pop Squad' (Volume 2 Episode 3)

A lot of people dream of being immortal, especially since there's such little time we have alive with so much to do in the world. Although living forever might be a good idea at first, the episode tells of a potential outcome should that become possible, specifically the price we have to pay for such a gift.

2. 'When the Yogurt Took Over' (Volume 1 Episode 6)

A lot of the episodes in the show are so mind-bending that you'll be staring at the wall for a few minutes after watching them, but some are just funny and straight to the point such as this episode, where scientists accidentally created a sentient breed of yogurt and it ends up making humanity better.

3. 'Jibaro' (Volume 3 Episode 9)

With hauntingly beautiful visuals, story, and choreography, it was no surprise that "Jibaro" is one of the most well-known episodes in the entire show. After its release, people were so amazed that social media was flooded by it. Some say it's about toxic relationships, while others argue that it's about selfish desires.

4. 'Swarm' (Volume 3 Episode 6)

The episode kind of highlights the human need to innovate, but also the potential to do so at the price of others. Dr. Afriel aims to create a new breed of the swarm that can do work for humans, which Dr. Mirny initially refused seeing as they will be a "slave race." She was convinced later on, which turned out to be a mistake as the queen of the alien swarm discovers the plan.

5. 'Automated Customer Service' (Volume 2 Episode 1)

Since the modern world is now riddled with smart and automated devices, the episode is a funny take on what would happen if people become too reliant on technology and it starts making their life difficult. In the show's extreme case, a robotic vacuum goes rogue and tries to erase its owner from the world, sending other bots against her as well.

6. 'Three Robots' (Volume 1 Episode 1)

As the title suggests, the main characters are three robots who tour a city long after the collapse of humanity. They look through the objects and practices of humans through an outsider's lens, effectively pointing out how ridiculous we can be in certain circumstances. The episode basically roasts our race in the best way possible.

7. 'In Vaulted Halls Entombed' (Volume 3 Episode 8)

For those who love the lores of massive god-like monsters like the Kraken or the Megalodon, this episode makes sure you get a dose of that. A group of soldiers tries to rescue a hostage only to find themselves in a strange cave with even stranger creatures. In the end, they find a giant that appears to be Cthulhu, a legendary cosmic entity.
