Amazon's earbuds are now more available than before.
The online e-commerce giant was recently noted to have dropped the price of its 2nd Gen Echo Buds by quite an amount in the lead to Prime Day, its annual two-day sale event.
Amazon may make more items much more affordable for consumers to purchase as Prime Day 2023 gets closer, with the Echo Buds being one of them.
Why Get Amazon Echo Buds?
If you're looking to get yourself or someone else a new pair of earbuds and are waiting for the Prime Day sale to start, you need not wait anymore. According to Android Police, those looking for a deal could get the wired charging model of Amazon's 2nd Gen Echo Buds for $65, $55 less than its original price of $120.
The publication, which first reported the drop, mentioned that its wireless charging model is also already on sale - it's original price of $140 is discounted by 39%, giving it a $85 price tag.
Amazon released its 2nd gen Echo Buds back in 2021, but the performance it delivers is still great compared to its contemporaries in the market.
The 2nd Gen Echo Buds are 20% smaller, lightweight, can withstand splashes, sweat, or light rain, and are comfortable enough for users to wear all day thanks to its shortened nozzle and built-in vents, which improves comfort and reduces ear pressure during use.
As with other earbuds that are worth their salt, Amazon's 2nd gen Echo Buds comes with Active Noise Cancellation, allowing users to enjoy their music, regardless of genre, without ambient sounds. They can also enable its Passthrough Mode to adjust the amount of ambient sound they hear through the device settings in the Alexa app.

Users only have to press and hold either Earbud to enable the previously mentioned modes or simply say "Alexa, turn on noise cancellation" or "Alexa, turn on Passthrough."
As for its performance as a wearable audio device, it delivers "crisp, balanced sound with extended dynamic range" thanks to the high-performance driver in each earbud, allowing users to get the most out of their music.
Users can also use Amazon's Echobuds for phone calls thanks to the onboard microphones in each earbud and ask it for directions during their commute. Thanks to its 15-hour battery life, users can use these earbuds as much as they want without having to worry about battery charge.
It is even capable of quick charging, giving users two hours of music playback for a 15-minute quick charge.
Amazon Prime Day 2023 Details
Amazon Prime Day returns on July 11 and 12, giving those with Prime membership access to exclusive deals during the two-day sale, per Amazon.
Amazon will drop new deals every 30 minutes during select periods throughout the event, giving Prime members deep discounts on products from popular brands like D'Amelio Footwear, OPI, Alo Yoga, Bose, Hey Dude, and Theragun.
The company has also been offering early deals for Prime members since June 21 to enjoy as Prime Day approaches, such as the Echo Buds sale.
