Amazon recently gave quite a discount on two iPads just before Prime Day officially starts, giving interested customers a chance to grab one while stocks last.
Amazon Prime Pday is scheduled for July 11 at 3 AM EDT up until July 12, per Amazon's announcement.

Amazon's Prime Day Sale is just ahead, and to celebrate its upcoming arrival, Amazon is doing Apple fans a solid: it dropped the prices of the 6th Gen iPad Mini by 20%, turning its once $500 price tag into a more affordable $400, per Engadget.
This smaller version of the iPad Apple offering may come in a small package, but its quality makes it bigger than what it looks like. Released by Apple in 2021, the 6th Gen iPad Mini features an A15 Bionic chip, per Apple, capable of delivering up to 80% faster performance when compared to its predecessor, and a USB-C port for faster and more convenient connectivity.
It also comes with an 8.3-inch LCD with narrow borders capable of up to 500 nits of brightness. It also has a P3 wide color gamut, anti-reflective screen coating, True Tone, and full lamination. These features highlight the vibrance in users' photos and videos and come right up to the surface of the glass.

Its advanced cameras, Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) support, and Center Stage allow users to capture photos and videos, take down notes, and video chat with their family. Interestingly, its cameras consist of an Ultra Wide front camera with a new 12MP sensor, giving users a larger field of view - perfect for its Center Stage feature.
For those unaware, Apple's Center Stage feature automatically pans the camera to keep users in view as they move around during a video call like FaceTime.
Apple iPad 10th Gen Discount Details
The 6th Gen iPad Mini isn't the only iPad Amazon put a discounted price on. The popular e-commerce company also gave an 11% discount on the 10th Gen iPad it is selling on its platform, giving it the same $400 price tag as the 6th Gen Apple Mini.
This device, which Apple released in Oct. 2022, features a 10.9-inch LC and the company's A14 Bionic chip, which delivers faster and more responsive performance than its predecessor without taxing the device's battery too much. Like the iPad Mini, it comes with a 12MP front camera, which is now located along the device's landscape edge instead of the topmost border. Another similarity with the 6th Gen iPAd Mini is its USB-C port, which allows it to support a wide range of accessories.
These accessories include a USB-C to SD card reader, USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter, and a USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter. While its features are similar to the 6th Gen iPad Mini, it does have a few small weak points: it only has support for the first generation Apple Pencil, and its LCD comes equipped with an sRGB color display - colors aren't as accurately shown.
