Street Fighter 6 Collaborates With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Street Fighter 6 will be releasing its highly-unexpected collaboration with Nickelodeon "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (TMNT), this August 8. 

The news was confirmed during the EVO 2023 following the release of its trailer. However, it is worth noting that Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangle, and Raphael will not be part of the full DLC characters. Regardless, Capcom assured that fans will be able to enjoy this latest game collaboration.

TMNT Goes to Street Fighter 6 

Based on the trailer, the collaboration will feature TMNT costumes, accessories, emotes, stamps, and more. Players can now dress their characters as Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangleo, and Raphael as the costumes comes in full-body costume. In addition, masks will also be include to complete the whole look of the characters. 

As for the emotes, the trailer hinted at the looks by having Michaelangelo eat a pizza. Other features will be in-game device wallpapers, camera frames in photo mode, avatar images, and accessories. 

Fans were quick to point out how great the upcoming collaboration will be. On the other hand, most of the fans were shocked by the unexpected news as they have never imagined Capcom will partner with TMNT. 

Street Fighter 6 Other Updates

Although the collaboration seems surprising for some, this is actually not the first collaboration between the two. Previously, IDW Publishing has released a five comic book miniseries that featured Chun-Li, Ken, Ryu, Guile and Raphael in Atlantic City.

Aside for TMNT collaboration, Capcom also introduced a new DLC character for Street Fighter 6, A.K.I. The new character will be the 20th playable character for the game and will be released in the single-player World Tour in Autumn 2023.
