Cyberpunk 2077: Mods That Will Improve Your Gameplay Experience

There are always parts of a game that can be improved, no matter how good they are. Modifications can vary from cosmetics to overall gameplay, and more often than not, there is always a mod that suits a player's preference. Here are a couple of Cyberpunk 2077 mods that you might want to try out.

1. Fast Travel Anywhere

CD Projekt Red's open-world games always require you to go to one fast travel point to get to another. It can be bothersome, especially if you're far from the nearest point, which kind of beats the purpose of the open-world feature. With this mod, you can get to any marker on the map, not just fast travel points.

2. Corrupt NCPD Contact

In a world where anyone can be bought with the right amount of eddies, it's surprising that CDPR did not add this himself. The mod adds a new person to your contact list called "NCPD Bribe." When you're wanted by the police, all you have to do is call the contact and it will all go away. You can use your phone even if it is grayed out.

3. Immersive City

At the beginning of the game, it's not as easy to earn money. With the Immersive City mod, you have the option to be a full-on criminal by robbing civilians. You can also choose to fight them and rob them as they lie unconscious. But, it might be more difficult than before.

Usually, civilians just ragdoll or run out of the way when you hit them. This time, they will have 100% health and they all have different health points. Some of them may even be higher in level than you, which means that they can be more dangerous.

4. No Equip Requirements

Cyberpunk 2077 considers a lot of factors when it comes to equipable items such as level, perks, and street cred. The mod removes the requirements for them, meaning that you can equip whatever you want. This applies to weapons, clothes, and cyberware, making it easier to customize your combat style and appearance.

5. Metro System

The only transportation system in the game is the Night City Area Rapid Transit (NCART) system. They can serve as fast travel points for the player, but you don't actually get to see the process of being transported.

With the Metro City mod, you'll be able to actually ride the NCART train. It adds 19 stations where you can even wait for the trains. It lets you switch between first and third person, as well as view Night City as it moves. Certain settings are customizable like train speed and fare price.

6. Virtual Atelier

The virtual atelier lets you buy clothes online, meaning that you'll have a store accessible through the in-game computers. This makes it easier to buy what you want and style V, and also not have to visit different stores to find certain types of clothing since all of them will be purchasable in one place.
