Call of Duty, Monster Energy Collaboration: Buy Drinks to Get Modern Warfare 3 Rewards

Video games, especially big titles, often engage in collaborations to increase their user base. Until now, social media platforms are still filled with Call of Duty Nicki Minaj memes. Monster Energy is partnering with the game likely to drive up sales, as it offers unique rewards to those who purchase them.

Call of Duty: Monster Energy Rewards

Activision is releasing the latest game in the Call of Duty franchise this year, Modern Warfare III. Although it already has enough traction to do well during its launch, it's still working on adding a bit more flair for players to look forward to.

In partnership with Monster Energy, those who purchase the Call of Duty-themed drinks could claim rewards in the game. The drinks will be limited edition and after purchasing, the receipt can be scanned online which will provide a code.

The code is used to redeem rewards on the Call of Duty x Monster Energy promotional website. Players will have to log into their accounts, upload the receipts from the purchase, and wait up to 24 hours for the claim to be processed, as reported by Game Rant.

There are seven rewards up for grabs, although the promotional photo shows that the rewards will not be indicated in the can. That means that players might need to purchase more than seven cans to get all of the rewards.

The first one is an "Inner Beast" weapons blueprint, and then there's an Operator skin called "The Beast." The third reward is a weapon vinyl called "Caught In The Crosshairs," all of which come with a 15-minute double XP token.

There's another skin for the Operator firearm called "Zero Chill" along with two other unrevealed season content. All three also come with a 15-minute double token reward. The third, which is likely the frequent reward, is a double XP token.

Some of the rewards might be exclusive to certain variations of the drinks. For instance, the "Zero Chill" Operator skin might only be redeemable from Monster Energy Zero Ultra drinks, which are white Monster Energy cans.

Call of Duty Crossovers

Over the years, Call of Duty released some pretty interesting Operators players can equip, with the most recent one being Nicki Minaj clad in all pink. Memes of it are still circling social media, which means that their marketing tactic is effective.

Although she is not the only rapper/musician who joined the scene. Call of Duty: Vanguard also released the Snoop Dogg Operator back in 2022, as reported by The Gamer, which shows the veteran artist wearing what looks like gangster attire.

It's also hard to forget the Rambo Operator for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. The character is known for his affinity for shooting everything in sight in the movies, so it's only fitting that we'll get to see him in a video game.

Other notable Operators also include Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 from the "Terminator" franchise, also from Call of Duty: Vanguard. There's also John McClane from "Die Hard" which allows players to shoot enemies as they appear as Bruce Willis' movie character.
