Logitech’s G Pro X Superlight 2 Comes with Major Upgrades

PC gamers often try to get the best equipment possible they can to enhance their gaming setup. Unlike consoles, there are several parts including monitors, keyboards, mice, and not to mention every single component inside a PC tower. This article is all about the mouse, particularly a popular Logitech model.

Its predecessor was released back in 2020, and the manufacturer is making major changes to match today's needs and technology. With the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2, users can get an upgraded high-end mouse for $159.

Granted, it's a bit pricey just like the version that came before it, but it's for a good reason. One of the big changes is that the G Pro X Superlight 2 can now be charged with a USB-C cable, as opposed to the previous micro USB port.

Its more recent releases have gotten rid of micro USB ports, making it difficult for users to find an extra cord should they lose the original. Aside from that, version two uses fully mechanical switches, eliminating potential issues with double-clicks, according to Engadget.

As for the battery life, it can now last up to 95 hours for every charge, which was previously just 70 hours. The shape of the mouse makes it a great fit for all types of grips and hand sizes, although it's still not as good as certain models that are made for specific factors.

With the Hero 2 sensor, the mouse gets steadier tracking when the user lifts or tilts the mouse quickly. In addition to that, the maximum DPI has been raised to 32,000, while the tracking speed goes up to 500 IPS.

The maximum polling rate has doubled from the G Pro X Superlight's 1,000 Hz, although that feature might not be as important if your monitor has a low or average refresh rate. Either way, it's better to have more than less for potential monitor upgrades in the future.

Logitech is also launching other new items such as the Pro X 2 Lightspeed headphones. It has a frequency response of 100 Hz up to 10 KHz. On a single charge, the wireless headphones can last up to 50 hours.

Its connection can go as far as 30 meters with its 2.4 GHz connectivity. The product comes with extra memory foam ear pads, memory foam leatherette pads, a detachable mic with foam, a USB-A to USB-C cable, a soft storage bag, and user documentation.

Along with the mouse and headphones, Logitech is also releasing a new Pro Series keyboard. The Logitech G Pro X TKL is a wireless keyboard with a Pro-inspired tenkeyless design. It also features Lightsync RGB lighting as well as onboard lighting profiles.

When fully charged, the keyboard can be used for up to 50 hours. It can be recharged with a USB-C charging cable, which already comes with the purchase along with a USB Lightspeed adapter, a carrying case, and user documentation.
