The Play Report on Google Play

The new video report will be shown at the top of the Google Play right below the app categories. The new feature will serve as a highlight for the latest and greatest apps and games on Google Play.

In a teaser released by Google, it was revealed that they will be working closely with expert, creators, and Googlers who will talk about their recent app discovery. The report will give the users a "download on what to download" feel which varies from trending content to hidden gems.

Google currently has countless apps and games on the Play Store. With that number, it is no brainer that some time things can get easily buried and forgotten. Hence, Google introduced the video series to help apps as well to be easily discovered.

For now, this feature will only be available to the select Play users in the US.
