Fortnite Gets Rewind

Every Fortnite season and chapter brings significant changes to the map which contributes to the never-ending challenge for the players. Oftentimes, there is a background story supporting the narrative of each season, making it more meaningful.

Currently, the game is already on its chapter 4 season 4. With season 5 coming in just a week on November 3, fans could not help but speculate on their next journey. Fortunately, Rein confirmed the rumors by giving a major hint for the upcoming season with the theme "rewind."

Fans were quick to celebrate the announcement citing that they have been waiting for this moment to come. A fan also voiced out wishing that it would bring the original spots to drop but with a bigger map. This is an exciting time both for longtime players who missed the original setting and the new players who never got to experience the wildness of Chapter 1.

Fortnite Chapter 1 in Season 5

Fortnite, which was initially launched in 2017, during its peak has entertained a lot of people. For instance, while the gameplay was popular in itself, the streamers who were regularly playing the game also contributed to its massive success back then. Although Fortnite remains popular for some, nothing beats its early success during Chapter 1.

The comeback of Fortnite's original map will mark the beginning of the new season. Meanwhile, chapter 4 season 4 is expected to end prior to the map's introduction. For now, Epic Games has yet to give details on how long will the original map stay.
