Ubisoft has already released a lot of games and is behind a couple of successful video game franchises. However, the majority would probably recognize the company from its Assassin's Creed titles. Ubisoft decided to be a generous studio by offering the title for free.
Free AC Syndicate on PC
In case you don't remember the sequence of releases, Assassin's Creed Syndicate was the last title that followed a chronological progression in the franchise. Ubisoft then started releasing prequels to the first game with Altair as the protagonist such as Odyssey, Origins, Valhalla, and Mirage.
The good news is that you can now download it for free. The bad news is that you will have to do so through Ubisoft Connect, which the majority would agree is a mediocre if not terrible launcher. It will be free for PC until December 6th so you still have a few days to decide.
As mentioned in Kotaku, you can head to the Ubisoft Launcher to claim the free game, or you can head to Ubisoft's Syndicate giveaway page to get the free copy. Regardless, you will still need the launcher to play the game, unfortunately.
Syndicate was released back in 2015, making it an 8-year-old game. Regardless, it is still among the best Assassin's Creed titles out there. It revolves around the Frye twins, Evie and Jacob, as they fulfill their duties as Assassins in 19th-century London.
