We don't know when we added them or how we knew them before. Yet at the same time, they are still in our Friends list years after because it is a hassle to remove all unwanted Friends manually.

You have to go to each of their profile pages and find the Unfriend option buried somewhere. It is such a hassle that we probably needed to do it multiple times.

But it is not actually the case, there is a secret Facebook feature that can allow you to easily unfriend all those unknown, unwanted, or least interacted Friends from your timeline. Here's how:

Step 1: Access the Profile Page

To easily remove Friends on Facebook, access the profile page of the account.

For mobile users, the profile page can be opened by clicking the profile picture icon in the top right corner of the app. Then, press the profile tab to open the profile page.

Web users can do the same by clicking the "Account" icon in the top right corner and selecting the profile tab with the username to open up the profile page.

Step 2: Open the Friends List

The next step is to scroll down to find the Facebook Friends tab. Mobile and web users can find the Friends panel after bio info or profile highlights.

To proceed, click the "See All Friends" on the opposite side of the "Friends" tag. Clicking the link will lead to the Friends List with all the account's Friends in alphabetical order.

Step 3: Remove Unwanted Friends

Opening the Friends List, the "Manage" option can be seen under the search bar in the right corner. Clicking that will open up a page to unfriend other users in just a click.

To easily find the accounts you want to unfriend, select among the three categories provided: "Least Interacted With," "No Mutual Friends," and "Friends You Unfollowed."

Usually, clicking the first category will show the Friends you usually see in your timeline but never really know. As long as you have not interacted with their posts or messaged them, the accounts will appear in this category.

The "No Mutual Friends" category can also be helpful if you accept all "Friend Requests" in the past before considering who that person is.

Just scroll down on all the accounts shown in either category and press the "Unfriend" button to finally say goodbye to all these accounts.

And that is how to remove unwanted Friends on Facebook in just three easy steps.

Just make sure to not easily accept accounts you don't know to not clog up your timeline again with unknowns.
