Cyberpunk 2077 Struggles With Annoying Bugs

Last month, CD Projekt Red released the latest patch update for Cyberpunk 2077. The update included major additions such as the full metro system, enhanced boss fights, new events, and more. However, the game also became plagued with new bugs that annoyed several players.

According to the game's SteamDB tracker, the studio is already developing an update that could potentially eliminate the bugs. Some of the problematic bugs are the failed trigger on melee weapon finisher animation, vanishing map markers, and more.

Fortunately, CD Projekt Red has been dedicated to improving these issues and has announced that they are aware of the problems. As of writing, the studio is yet to confirm the next update.

Cyberpunk 2077 Continues to Dominate Video Games

Despite the bugs issue, the studio remained grateful for the warm support on the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion. The Phantom Liberty DLC has been receiving positive reviews since its release.

The DLC recently celebrated a new milestone for reaching over five million sold copies of the game expansion. Moreover, it is estimated that 700,000 of it was only bought during the December holiday season.

With the base game achieving over 25 million lifetime sales as of October 2023, CD Projekt Red might be preparing something new for Cyberpunk players in the future.
