BLKFAM Represents Black Audience Media Demand

Recent Nielsen data revealed that Black audiences still feel the misrepresentation or underrepresentation of their community in the mainstream media despite consuming significant access to streaming services.

"Black culture and content is so often stereotyped, siloed or written off -- so I wanted to create a platform where my kids and I can be entertained without having to face those same daily biases," founder and CEO of BLKFAM Larry Adams stated.

Goldberg signed as an equity partner for the platform along with Tom Leonardis, president of Goldberg's Whoop Inc. production company. The actress will reportedly handle the creative development for the exclusive programming projects on the platform.
