Call of Duty: Mobile Devs Reveal Comeback for Removed Maps, Additional Content

Call of Duty: Mobile (COD: M) developer TiMi Studio Group and publisher Activision revealed that fan-favorite locations are coming later this year.

The game removed some of its familiar locations like Shoot House and Alcatraz which worried some fans about the development of the game.

Call of Duty: Mobile Will Continue, Says Devs

In a recent update, several COD: M players were alarmed after two locations were removed from the game. The game team quickly addressed the issue and assured players that it was not permanent.

"This is not permanent, both will be returning later this year, rotating in and out each season like other playlists in the game," the team confirmed in an X post.

In a follow-up post, the team also clarified that COD: M will still receive new content every season. Avid fans of the were previously worried that the spinoff would stop the updates for the game.

"There are no plans to change the breadth of content we bring to COD: M players. Stay tuned for more info on exciting new content we have coming this year!" the studio promised.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Launches on March 21

The highly-anticipated spinoff Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is finally arriving on smartphones this March 21. Activision's original Warzone had a successful run which makes it a popular choice for mobile gaming adaptation.

Fans of battle royale can expect immersive gameplay. Leaked Alpha test information and official announcement revealed that Warzone Mobile has better graphics compared to COD: M.

Regardless, both games are still worth playing, especially since Activision is not cutting off the development for the COD: M, despite the upcoming launch of a quite similar game.
