Please Stand By Message

The 'Please Stand By' message is one of the signature elements in the Fallout gaming franchise. The message is often shown for cutscenes and loading screens. It is also present on all the versions of the game across the franchise so including something like this is vital for the fans.

In the series, the message was projected along the walls of Vault 33. 'Please Stand By' was plastered across the vault during a disastrous attack.

Vault Boy

The Vault Boy is a familiar character for everyone who has played the game. The Vault Boy is often seen with his iconic thumbs-up action. The character is often seen across the game, making him a familiar face for players.

During the show, Vault Boy's thumbs-up sign was used during a nuclear attack. In addition, Copper Howard, played by Walton Goggins, also made the gesture in his Vault-Tec commercial.

Vault 33 Interior Design

Vault 33, where Lucy is situated, bears similarities to the vaults from Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. From doors to mailboxes, they were all identical to the ones seen in the games.

Moreover, the Vault 33 classroom is so close to the design of the Fallout 4 shelter yet it also resembles the memories of the G.O.A.T exam room in Fallout 3. As we know, the series is a lot closer to the timeline of Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, so some elements are expected to be similar.

SPECIAL System

Posters of SPECIAL, the known rule system of the RPG stats in every Fallout game, are plastered across the Vault 33. The posters are quite similar to the Appalachian vaults in Fallout 76.

PipBoy Accessory

Lucy and her fellow Vault 33 dwellers are all spotted using the PipBoy, specifically the Pip-Boy 3000 Mark IV which was based on the Fallout 4. There were also scenes where the PipBoy 2000 MkV from Fallout 76 was shown.

In the game, the PipBoy offers various help to the dwellers. It can monitor their bio status and HP provides a map for the wasteland and has a tracking system to help them when doing missions. The watch is also a communication system for the dwellers and can be used to listen to local radio stations.
