Marvel's 'Agatha All Along' Reveals September Premiere on Disney+

Marvel confirmed that the "Agatha All Along" series will premiere its first two episodes on Disney+, starting September 18.

The series will be a direct spin-off of the popular "WandaVision" which was released during the pandemic on the streaming platform.

Disney Previews 'Agatha All Along' at Upfront Presentation

Kathryn Hahn, who portrays Agatha, announced the official title of the series during the Disney Upfront presentation. Fans have been waiting for the series since it was featured on the behind-the-scenes Blu-ray version of "WandaVision."

Attendees of the Upfront had the chance to watch the trailer for "Agatha All Along" which has yet to be released online. The trailer introduced Agatha Harkness as a detective when she stumbled upon "W. Maximoff."

Disney first announced Agatha's own spinoff series after her character became a breakout hit on "WandaVision." Hahn's character played a pivotal role in Wanda's story as it was revealed it was her causing a ruckus in Wanda's mind.

'Agatha All Along' Suffered Delays 

At the behind-the-scene, it was mentioned that the unannounced project is called "Agatha: Darkhold Diaries." Prior to that, the series was originally called "Agatha: House of Harkness" and "Agatha: Coven of Chaos."

The series will also feature actors such as Patti LuPone, Audrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Maria Dizzia, Sassher Zamata, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili. Meanwhile, Emma Caulfield and Debra Jo Rupp will be reprising their characters from "WandaVision."

Agatha's story was originally lined up to be released in 2023. However, the series was included among the pushed-back shows due to the writers' and actors' strikes. Disney also made a decision to shift its plans for its streaming service.
