The new LG G Flex 2 curved-display powerhouse is now officially available for purchase from Vodafone UK, and could also get you a free LG G Watch R.
Not too long ago, Vodafone UK started taking pre-orders for the LG G Flex 2, and the carrier has now officially launched the handset on its network. The LG G Flex 2 made its debut back at CES 2015 earlier this year, rocking impressive specs and features all around and boasting notable improvements over its predecessor.
In terms of specifications, the LG G Flex 2 sports a 5.5-inch Plastic OLED (P-OLED) display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, marking a notable upgrade from the 6-inch HD display of the original LG G Flex. Under the hood, LG's second-generation curved-display smartphone packs a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, paired with Adreno 430 graphics.
The handset comes with in two options: 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity, or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage capacity. Vodafone UK lists the device with 16GB of built-in storage, which means that it has 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also features microSD support for additional storage of up to 128GB, according to Vodafone.
Other specs include a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+ and Laser Auto Focus, a 2.1-megapixel front shooter, and a 3,000 mAh battery with fast-charging technology that will allow it to charge up to 50 percent in less than 40 minutes. The battery is non-removable.
In terms of design and build, the new LG G Flex 2 features a curved profile that will reportedly make it comfortable to hold and use, and is 20 percent more durable than its predecessor due to LG's chemically enhanced DuraGuard technology. Moreover, the LG G Flex 2 also comes with self-healing capabilities that will enable it to automatically recover from small scuffs or scratches in ten seconds or less.
Vodafone UK is now offering the LG G Flex 2 on a range of monthly plans, and is also throwing in a free LG G Watch R for customers who purchase the smartphone on one of its RED 4G plans.
